Take note of the following instructions
to protect yourself and others from
hazards and injuries.
Observe local accident prevention and safety
regulations in the work area.
The operator is responsible for third parties in
the work area.
Keep children away from machine.
Persons younger than 16 years of age are not
allowed to operate the machine.
Be sure that there is enough light.
All dangerous parts have been covered with
safeguards for your protection. Do not modify
or remove the safeguards.
Never modify the machine or parts thereof.
Only start up the machine if the protective
devices are complete and undamaged.
Always fix tightly tilting angle control during
storage, transport and operation.
Faulty or damaged parts in the device must
be replaced immediately.
Set up and run the machine on a solid, level
base only (where it will not tip over).
Make sure that there is no danger of tripping
near the machine.
Only use the machine for the functions listed in
"Proper use".
Wear protective goggles and eye protection
while working with the machine.
Do not spray machine with water (this is
hazardous due to live components).
Do not leave the machine standing in the rain
or use when raining. Store the machine in a
dry place.
Be absolutely sure to
pull the plug before:
- adjust the angle
- moving or transport
- cleaning, maintenance or repair work
Electrical safety
Connecting attachments must be designed in
conformance with IEC 245-4:1980
(DIN 57 282) and marked H 07 RN-F, or
comparable models. Cross section of wires at
least 3 x 1.5 mm² up to a maximum length of
50 m. Wire cross-section at least 2.5 mm² for
lengths of more than 50 m.
Use only connecting attachments with a
rubber plug device that is protected against
spraying water
.
Check connecting attachments for defects or
ageing before using them.
Never use defective connecting attachments.
When laying the connecting attachments, be
sure that they do get crushed or bent, and that
the plug-and-socket connection does not get
wet.
Do not use any provisional electrical
connections.
Never bridge over protective devices or put
them out of operation.
Connect the machine using a fault current
protection switch.
A licensed professional electrician must
make all electrical connections and repairs,
and observe local regulations in doing so,
especially those regarding protective measures.
The manufacturer or a company designated by
the manufacturer must attend to the repair of all
electrical parts on the machine.

Observe all safety instructions.
Check that the machine is completely and
correctly assembled.
Set the machine on a solid, level base.
Connect the machine to an appropriate and
correctly wired electric socket.
Only use extension leads with sufficient dia-
meters:
- cable up to 50 metres: diameter at least
1,5 mm².
- cable over 50 metres: diameter at least
2,5 mm².
Fuse protection: 10 A
Before using the machine, make sure each
time that
- there are no faulty connections
- all screws are tight
- whether tilting angle control is properly
tightened.
Switching on and off
! red 0 = OFF
green = ON
! Switch the motor on and off only at the switch.
! In the event of a power failure, the machine will
switch off automatically. Press the switch
again to restart the machine.
Motor protection
The motor is equipped with a thermostat. The
thermostat switches the motor off automatically in
the event of overload (overheating). The machine
can be restarted after a cooling-off period.
